Kate has recently increased her hours and has appointments available for both individuals and couples.

Having worked in executive search, organisational consulting, visual arts/philosophy and academia prior to psychology, Katebrings a wealth of life and professional experience to her practice. She has a special interest in an existential framework which proposes that our freedom as individuals is in our ability to choose how we respond to life’s challenges – both the minor everyday ones and the big, high stake ones. The aim of therapy is create that space of freedom by understanding our past, our present, and what we dare to hope for in our future. Kate’s approach to couples counselling utilises the well-regarded and research-based Gottman Method and she has completed Levels I and II with the The Gottman Institute. Kate applies an integrated approach to working with couples and individual clients of all ages to support them with challenges including:

  • Relationship issues;
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress/burnout
  • Family issues
  • Career guidance, workplace stress, leadership challenges
  •  Changing habits and establishing a healthy lifestyle;
  • Parenting;
  • Ageing;
  • Socialising and relationship building
