Relationship and Couples Counselling

Other Services
Psychologist Reports:
Current rate as set by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) available on request dependent on type and length of report required and only in context of a therapeutic treatment with an established relationship between Psychologist and Client and determined by the Psychologist to be relevant.
Please note that we are unable to offer single sessions for the purposes of obtaining letters for employers, universities or third parties. Brisbane Wellbeing Psychologists do not offer medico-legal reports or other reports for legal purposes.
FAQ’S
Can I pay later for my appointment?
Brisbane Wellbeing is a private billing practice with payment required at the time of consultation. Medicare rebates are available for a clients referred under a Mental Health Care Plan. Private Health fund rebates may apply depending on your coverage and fund however cannot be used at the same time as using a Medicare Claim.
Can my appointments be bulk billed?
The clinic does not bulk bill.
Will I need to personally put through my claim to Medicare?
We aim to make the booking, payment and rebate processes as smooth and easy as possible for you. If your bank account details are registered with Medicare, you can elect to have the rebate processed directly back into your account. We also have convenient claiming for health funds available for on the spot claiming, if available from your fund.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Two days notice (48 hours) is required to cancel or reschedule a session and failure to provide this notice may result in the full fee being payable. We appreciate your understanding.
Is a deposit needed for my initial appointment?
In order to ensure appointments are readily available and that our clinician time is well managed, all initial bookings need a deposit to secure which can be taken over the phone and is deducted from the cost of an initial session.
Do I need a referral to make my initial appointment?
Referral is not required to see our Psychologists on a private basis.
